By receiving services from Quiet Wisdom, clients acknowledge and agree to the following terms of service. Please read carefully before engaging services through Quiet Wisdom.
Scope of services
Life coaching is a relationship between a coach and client where they partner in a thought-provoking and creative process meant to inspire and equip the client to maximise their unique potential through taking steps forward in areas they desire to experience growth. Jane is a member coach of the International Coaching Federation and abides by the Code of Ethics.

Our services provide guidance, accountability, and personal development tools and strategies. Coaching is not to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, medical, psychological, financial, business, spiritual or other qualified professionals. Coaching is not a mental health profession, and clients are responsible for their own mental health.

Services may include education and information and do not include giving advice. Clients are responsible for their own decisions and actions at all times.
Client responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Take responsibility for their personal progress.

Respect appointment times and cancellation policies.

Pay for services per the payment policies.

Notify the coach if discontinuing services.
Payment and cancellation

Fees are due prior to each session or at the time of invoicing unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations require 24 hours notice to avoid charges. No-shows or late cancellations may be charged in full.

If outstanding invoices are not paid, sessions may be paused until payment is made.
Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality, except:

If required by law.

If there is a risk of harm to the client or others.

If the client provides explicit consent to share information.

​If the client discloses any of the following, Quiet Wisdom has an ethical responsibility to report to the appropriate authorities:

immediate and specified risk of harm to minors

someone (including the client) presents an immediate and specified risk of causing grievous bodily harm to another
-
someone (including the client) presents an immediate and specified risk of carrying out a criminal act
-
someone (including the client) presents an immediate and specified risk of committing suicide

No guarantees

Results vary based on a number of factors. We do not guarantee specific outcomes from our services.
Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the use of our services.
Termination of services

We reserve the right to terminate services if:

A client engages in inappropriate behavior.

There is a breach of these Terms of Service.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms of Service. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
