Finding Serenity after Heartbreak

Join me for a transformative journey of healing and connection from betrayal trauma. Support groups offer a safe space to share experiences, find understanding, and foster positive change through learning powerful tools to support your healing. With other women who "get it", you will feel cared for and empowered to take steps that will help you reach your recovery goals. We welcome you.

What will this support group course give me?

Connection

Discovering that your person is hiding sexual secrets from you is a terrifying and isolating experience. Finding safe community and connection with others contributes significantly to a restored sense of safety and stability. Your hurting heart will find a supportive place to be held.

Making sense

Sexual betrayal challenges every aspect of your life. Big emotional swings and feeling shut down, endless thought loops, sleep and gut disturbances are all signs of a body and mind trying to find equilibrium when in deep pain. Through this course, you will develop language and frameworks to make sense of your experience and find ways to feel better. Your will learn what sex addiction is and why it's not about you.

Toolkit

You will practice using many tools to move towards serenity including:

  • creating and maintaining effective boundaries

  • polyvagal self-regulation

  • planning for turbulence

  • leveraging your inbuilt strengths

  • values-based decision making

  • identifying and meeting your needs

  • emotions processing

Vision

One of the devastating effects of trauma is a impacted sense of your identity, your story and your connection with the world, with God and with others. In this group, you will begin to reconnect to your sense of self as you cast vision for yourself and celebrate your wins with others.
